Roe Valley Working Gundog Club has been active for many years, begun by local shooting men to train their dogs in all aspects of the field.
The main ethos of the club is to help people to train their gundogs to a very high standard and to help them maintain this level year in and year out, so making their experience in the shooting field very satisfying. The club welcomes all dog handlers and tries to make dog training as enjoyable as it should be.
The club also boasts members who trial their dogs with great success, competing at International level.
Each year we hold an annual general meeting where the past training year is discussed and our office bearers (Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer etc.) are voted in.
Training classes take place From May through to August on a Tuesday night starting at 7pm sharp regardless of weather conditions.
The club is fortunate enough to have the kind permission of the owner to enjoy the use of an Estate just outside Limavady town, which provides us with first class training facilities in a very pleasing and friendly environment.
